Steve Brooks is an explorer, co-founder of Spitfires.com, and owner of BoultbeeLDN. He has flown a Spitfire, crossed the Bering Strait in a land vehicle, and set records in a helicopter.
POLE TO POLE EXPEDITION. It took 2 years and 2 helicopters but Steve and fellow pilots Quentin Smith and Joanna Vestey flew their Robinson 44 across 20 countries, and 20,000 miles from the North to the South Pole between 2002 – 2004 creating a new world record.
The group was formed in 2004 by Steve Brooks (ex-Floor), Juan Montoya (ex-Floor, ex-Cavity, ex-Ed Matus Struggle), Jonathan Nuñez and Rick Smith (who also played in the grindcore bands Shitstorm, Tyranny of Shaw, Adore Miridia, the screamo band Tunes for Bears to Dance To, and punk band Post-Teens).
