Carl Christian von Weizsäcker is a renowned economist and a former professor at several German universities. He is a visiting researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Research on Collective Goods, where he works on welfare economics, capital theory, history of economics, euro crisis, climate policy and social market economy.

Carl Christian von Weizsäcker (born in Berlin on January 28, 1938) is a German economist who currently works as a senior research fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Research on Collective Goods (MPI-EG), having emerited from the University of Cologne in 2003.
Using this temporal approach in capital theory I introduce two coefficients of intertemporal substitution (CIS): one for the production system and one for the consumption system. For the meta‐model, I prove a “law of intertemporal substitution” in terms of CIS.
