THE BOOTS. Die Geschichte der besten deutschen Band aller Zeiten. Von Mike Korbik. Wo fang ich an? Am Anfang, klar? Der war für mich erst Mitte der 70er Jahre. Ich bin die entscheidenden 2-3 Jahre zu jung, um die Boots schon damals zur Zeit ihres Wirkens und Erfolgs erlebt zu haben.
here are the boots ... again! - die legendäre Rhythm & Blues Band der sechziger Jahre wird mit dieser Dokumentation dargestellt. Neben den berühmten Bands der Beatles oder Rolling Stones behaupteten sie als Berliner Band mit ihrem Rhythmus eine wichtige Phase vieler Jugendlicher.
The Boots were a German Beat band from West-Berlin, active between 1964 and 1968. In 2005 the band reformed for a reunion show at the Quasimodo club in Berlin.
The Boots is open three times a week namely Friday, Saturday and Sunday. On special occasions such as holidays or during events and/or parties we might open on other days or earlier as well. The Boots. Fällt hierzulande der Begriff "The Boots", denkt niemand an Beatstiefel oder Nancy Sinatra. Alle schnalzen vielmehr mit der Zunge, denn der Name ist synonym für die beste Band der Beat-Ära aus diesen Breiten. Auch international genießen sie höchstes Ansehen. Ihre erste LP steht als Denkmal fest wie der Arminius bei Detmold.
