Juli 1987 · When separate, Sting and the Gil Evans Orchestra usually bore me, and a lot of this CD is what I would've expected from a combination of them...but give them a Tony Williams song, apparently, and they'll rip it up. Get the DVD for the eleven-minute version of "There Comes a Time," instead of the 4-minute cut on the record & CD -- the best performance (and song, I think) of the whole show.
