Our rounded education enables pupils to pursue a wide range of interests which will equip them with skills and values to live a successful, fruitful and fulfilling life.

  5. Birkdale School. Education is provided for pupils from 4-18 years. Known for its high academic standards this HMC/IAPS school provides within a distinctively Christian ethos a wide range of out of school activities to educate the whole person. Pastoral care is given a strong emphasis. ISC associations: HMC, IAPS, The Society of Heads, AGBIS, ISBA.

  6. Christian Chaplaincy. Chaplaincy within both the Prep and Senior schools is core to Birkdale’s support for staff and pupils. The chaplaincy role has many faces: a listening ear, organiser of Christian Union (“CU”) meetings, events, trips, assemblies, prayer meetings, and a support to staff, as well as actively encouraging pupils and the Christian gospel.

  7. The School Day The Prep school reception is open from 8.15am. Registration for all pupils takes place at 8.45am. Lunch is served from 12 noon for Pre-Prep and 12.30pm onwards for Prep. The school day finishes at 3.30pm for Pre-Prep and 3.50pm for Prep. The Prep school reception closes at 5pm. Birkdale recognises the needs of busy working parents
