  1. Dr Subramaniam and Mrs Viji Subramaniam started the festival in honour of his late father and guru, Prof. V. Lakshminarayana, a pioneer in violin technique and a great teacher and composer. The festival promotes peace and harmony and brings different artists from different musical traditions together to promote a unique musical exchange at every concern.
