Steve Cropper: I think Roger actually came up with the idea. But Jon Tiven, who's a co-producer, had some titles for the album, and I did too. He said, "I talked to the record company, and they'd really like to have the album titled after one of the songs. I looked at the list of song titles, and Fire It Up seemed to be the right one.
