starting all over - 1977 / wynne jammin' - 1980. Here he recorded 'Starting All Over' (1977) before teaming up with George Clinton to tour and record with Funkadelic on '(Not Just) Knee Deep'. In 1980, Philippé released 'Wynne Jammin' on the Cotillion label, featuring 'Starting All Over'.
Wynne's first solo album, Starting All Over, released in 1977 on Cotillion Records, had limited success and no hit singles, leading him to be released from his contract. In 1979, Wynne joined George Clinton's Parliament-Funkadelic and became a featured vocalist on their hit single, (Not Just) Knee Deep, which topped the Billboard R&B chart.
