Wie gesagt, die Voraussetzungen stimmen und "Small Soldiers" hätte durchaus ein freches kleines B-Picture werden können. Leider ist es dann aber irgendwie alles anders gekommen. Der Film ist in nahezu allen Belangen halbherzig ausgefallen und somit eine einziger fader Kompromiß, der nie so recht weiß, was er denn nun eigentlich sein will.
