It’s an honest and compelling look at a musical culture that was very much in transformation in 1976 – and was fortunately documented by James Szalapski and his small crew of merry filmmakers.

Heartworn Highways ist sicherlich eine interessante DVD, allerdings denke ich eher etwas für Insider des Genres. Sehr handmade Musik im Folk/Blues Stil,mit lebensechten nicht gestellten Figuren und alles mit leichtem Südstaaten Charm, eine DVD die für den nicht Insider doch eher langweilig sein dürfte!
