Newstead Wood School is a selective girls’ grammar school in Avebury Road, Orpington, south east London, England. History. The school was founded in 1957 as Orpington Grammar School for Girls and changed its name to Newstead Wood School in 1965. The school is part of the United Learning trust and has a co-educational sixth form (boys and girls).
