This Grade II* Listed building on the corner of Southampton Row and Theobalds Road was once home to Central St. Martin's College of Art and Design. Originally it was shared by the Central School of Arts and Crafts and the London Day Training College. The listing comments describe it as follows:
Central Saint Martins is located at King's Cross, which is our main site, and Archway. Please note there are two Granary Squares in N1, Central Saint Martins is based in King’s Cross not nearby Islington. Some Study Abroad, Full-Time Portfolio and Short Courses will be running at Central Saint Martins in Archway (Annex B), Elthorne Road - N19.
