Donna McKechnie (Nov 16, 1940) is a Tony-winning American actress who portrayed Amanda Harris and Olivia Corey on the original Dark Shadows. Originally from Pontiac, Michigan, McKechnie has had an extremely successful stage career, winning the Tony award for her role as Cassie in the original production of "A Chorus Line." Donna McKechnie began her love affair with dance as a child in Detroit. At fifteen, she ran away from home to join a touring dance troupe, and in 1961, she was cast in the Broadway smash hit How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. She soon won acclaim as Michael Bennett's show-stopping muse in Promises, Promises and Company.
Donna is now co-starring in a new production called 4 Girls 4 with Maureen McGovern, Andrea McArdle and Faith Prince produced by Wayne Gmitter. Ms. McKechnie recently appeared at 54 Below, New York’s celebrated Supper Club, presenting her new musical show Same Place: Another Time , and then she performed it in London at the Crazy Coqs Supper Club.
