  4. Anthony Peter Hatch was born in 1939, the first child of Cyril and Eileen Hatch. Highly musical from an early age, by 4 he was proficient on the piano and by 8 he was singing in the local church choir. His mother, also a pianist, enrolled him into the London Choir School in Bexley, Kent when he was 10.
