This stimulating subject combines fascinating content with a rigorous and scientific approach to investigation. It has recently undergone a huge growth in popularity, both as a choice for A level and undergraduate study. The course aims to develop an academic understanding of the subject and an appreciation of its impact on people’s daily lives.

Our comprehensive programme includes courses for counselling, languages, art and design, business and recreational activities.
Entry requirements. GCSE grade 6 or merit in Art and Design or similar subject title. Not included: Art & Design (Photography) or Design Technology. The Mathematics A level consists of Pure Mathematics (2/3 of the course) and Applied Mathematics in Mechanics and Statistics (1/6 each).
