  1. Franco Modigliani. Franco Modigliani (n. 18 iunie 1918, Roma, Regatul Italiei – d. 25 septembrie 2003, Cambridge, Massachusetts, SUA) a fost un economist american, laureat al Premiului Nobel pentru economie (1985).

  2. Modigliani taught at the New School from 1944 to 1949 and was a research consultant to the Cowles Commission at the University of Chicago from 1949 to 1952. He was a professor at Carnegie Institute of Technology from 1952 to 1960, at Northwestern University from 1960 to 1962, and at MIT from 1962 to the present. He was president of the American Economic Association in 1976.
