    Anahareo and Eric's daughter Katherine, born in 1942, was the only one of her children that Anahareo was able to raise full-time. Anahareo taught Katherine to be proud of her Aboriginal heritage and instilled in her an empathy and understanding for animals. Katherine left home in 1959, married, and had a son, Raven.
