21. März 2017 · Buntine Rocks, is a large granite outcrop, with spectacular 360 degree views from the top stretching over farmland to the west and bushland to the east. It is a relatively easy climb to the top, and well worth it for the views of the surrounding countryside. It is perhaps most spectacular over the winter when the farm crops create a patchwork of green and gold.
21. März 2024 · DESCRIPTION. Buntine is a small settlement on the Wubin to Perenjori road. The name was first recorded referring to a nearby hill and when the railway came through the area, it was applied to a siding that was built on the line in 1913. Grain bins were installed in the 1930s and a bulk handling facility was established in 1949.
