Hamlin and group member Noah Tafolla later signed with Brunswick Records, and recorded an album and toured. They eventually married and had children, and in 1963 she retired to raise her family. She stayed out of the music business for six years, returning in 1969 to record several singles, and did so again on and off until the 2000s.

Noah Tafolla is a native San Diegan and plans on never leaving! His grandparents came here in 1940. He attended school at OB Elementary, Collier Jr. High and graduated from Point Loma High.
By 1963, Rosie had married her sweetheart, Noah Tafolla (formerly of the Originals) and retired from the business to complete her education and raise a family. It wasn't until 1969, that she made a comeback, recording an album's worth of material, most of which appeared on Ace's first Rosie & the Originals compendium (Ace CHD 738).
