There's a photograph of Beryl Ingham, and her sister May, as The Two Violets, on this site. Sheila Khan's Family Tree Is says on there that her father was the landlord of the Black Bull in Darwen. On some biographical sites her birth's given as Accrington, or Haslingden. But that's probably just where her birth would have been registered.
