Letizia Bonaparte was the mother of Napoleon Bonaparte. She married Carlo Maria Buonaparte, father of Napoleon Bonaparte when she was only 14 years old, in 1764. Carlo was 18. After their marriage they lived in the Maison Bonaparte (Casa Buonaparte), a house on Rue Saint-Charles in Ajaccio the capital of Corsica.
