Insgesamt ist "Back to the egg" sicher ein untypisches Wings-Album, wenn man die Wings mit Stücken wie "Silly Love Songs" oder "With a little luck" assoziiert. Es ist für mich aber eines der besseren McCartney-Alben der 70er. Schade, dass McCartney höchstens noch selten so rau geklungen hat wie hier.
