Groups of six or more require reservations; we kindly request that group visit requests be made at least two weeks in advance. Questions?   2. Hampshire was among the first schools in the country to be test optional, a policy the College has followed since opening in 1970. While Hampshire has never required SATs or ACTs, in the past we would review these scores if a student wished to submit them as part of an application. As of 2014, we haven't even accepted them; we are entirely test free in our admissions process.
