Don Rich was Buck Owens's close friend and musical partner. He also sang vocal harmonies, played lead guitar and fiddle, and was leader of Buck's backing band The Buckaroos during their heyday period with Capitol Records throughout the Sixties and early Seventies. Tragically Don was killed in a motorcycle accident in California in July 1974, aged 32.

Country Pickin': The Don Rich Anthology is a compilation album featuring Don Rich, American guitarist, fiddler, and long-time sideman of Buck Owens, released in 2000.
Don Rich was Buck Owens's close friend and musical partner. He also sang vocal harmonies, played lead guitar and fiddle, and was leader of Buck's backing band The Buckaroos during their heyday period with Capitol Records throughout the Sixties and early Seventies. Tragically Don was killed in a motorcycle accident in California in July 1974, aged 32.
