The Fairfax Center for Visual Arts opened in September 1981, and is located on the campus of Fairfax High School. It is the only visual arts magnet high school in the Los Angeles Unified School District. Enrollment is limited to 400 students in grades 9-12.

This school is about the same as the state average in key measures of college and career readiness, but depending on the state, average can mean only a minority of students are ready for college and career. (Remember: high graduation rates don't mean much if students are graduating without the coursework and test scores they need to succeed.)

I see this as a negative because this shows that the school seems to not care as much about the students nor the consequences that the student deserves.
