Pupils or their parents are able to claim free school meals if they receive a qualifying benefit. This field does not show pupils who actually received free school meals but the number of those who are eligible to receive them.

  6. ISI is formally approved by the Secretary of State for Education to inspect association independent schools in England. This approval is outlined in section 87A of the Children Act 1989 and section 106 of the Education and Skills Act 2008.

  7. Universities. The education boys receive at MGS is an excellent preparation for study at university. The vast majority of our boys go on to study at leading Russell Group universities, with large numbers going on to Oxford, Cambridge, UCL, Imperial, Warwick, Bristol and Durham. We also have boys taking up places at university in North America.
