    26. Okt. 2006 · I bought this after reading a reference to the album in a Mary Steyn "Song of the Week" column. I'm a big fan of standards singers, but wasn't familiar with Matt Dennis. One listen to this album and I'm now a fan. The quality is good, Dennis sings wonderfully, and the intimacy of the surroundings make you feel as if you're back in 1950s Hollywood.
