  7. 20. Juni 2019 · Harakiri was as beautiful as any Mizoguchi film and as entertaining as the best works of Kurosawa. The theatrical performance never got pretentious. Instead, it enhanced some of the best-written dialogue in any samurai film, either before or after. The few understated sword fights are top-notch.
