A Traveler's Needs (hangeul : 여행자의 필요 ; RR : Yeohaengjaui pilyo ; litt. « Besoins de la voyageuse ») est un film sud-coréen réalisé par Hong Sang-soo , sorti en 2024 . Il est présenté en avant-première mondiale, en compétition, à la Berlinale 2024 [ 1 ] .
Son film berlinois de 2024, A traveler’s needs, marque une nouvelle collaboration du cinéaste avec Isabelle Huppert, après In another Country en 2012, et La caméra de Claire en 2017. Elle y joue Iris, une Française vivant en Corée du sud, sans qu’on sache trop pourquoi, si ce n’est qu’elle y donne des cours de Français pour la première fois de sa vie.

A comforting and soothing film, A Traveler’s Needs is well-deserving of its award – and ranks amongst the best films that the ever-prolific Hong Sang-soo has directed over the last ten years.
