It was made in 1989 while Nolan was studying at University College London. The film aired on "Image Union," a PBS programme in Chicago. Tarantella ist eine US-amerikanische Filmoperette aus dem Jahr 1937 und das erste reine Soloprojekt von Jeanette MacDonald seit ihrem Wechsel zu MGM Mitte 1933.
