Peter Pace General, U.S. Marine Corps. Peter Pace was born on 5 November 1945 in Brooklyn, NY, to Italian-American parents and raised in Teaneck, NJ, graduating from Teaneck High School in 1963. He received a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps in June 1967, following graduation from the U.S. Naval Academy.
