Stanislaus I. Leszczyński (eigentlich Stanisław Bogusław Leszczyński; * 20. Oktober 1677 in Lemberg, Polen-Litauen; † 23. Februar 1766 in Lunéville, Herzogtum Lothringen) war ein polnischer Aristokrat, Magnat, Beamter im Staatsdienst [1], Reichsgraf des Heiligen Römischen Reichs und Staatsmann aus dem Adelsgeschlecht der Leszczyńskis.
Stanislao I Leszczyński, noto anche come Stanisław Bogusław Leszczyński (Leopoli, 20 ottobre 1677 – Lunéville, 23 febbraio 1766), è stato un nobile polacco, divenuto re di Polonia e granduca di Lituania, prima (1704-1709) nel corso della Grande guerra del Nord, poi nuovamente (1733-1736) nel vuoto di potere conseguente alla morte di Augusto II di Sassonia e alla guerra.
The Place Stanislas is a large pedestrianised square in the French city of Nancy, in the Lorraine historic region. Built between 1752 and 1756 on the orders of Stanislaus I, the square is one of the oldest examples of an architecturally consistent and monumental public square, and is an excellent example of 18th-century urban architecture.
