Epic Records je americká hudobná nahrávacia spoločnosť založená v roku 1953 spoločnosťou CBS, od r. 1988 vlastnená spoločnosťou Sony BMG . Spočiatku spoločnosť vydávala jazzovú a klasickú hudbu, neskôr začali vydávať aj iné žánre, ako rock and roll , R&B , country až po hard rock .

Columbia Records perusti Epicin alun perin vuonna 1953. Yhtiön toimialana olivat jazz -musiikki ja klassinen musiikki. Kymmenen vuotta myöhemmin yhtiö laajentui rock -, R&B - ja country -musiikkiin ja saavutti ensimmäiset kultalevynsä nousten merkittävään asemaan. 1988 Sony osti Columbia Recordsin ja liitti Epicin itseensä.
