Juli 2013 · i thought i'd revisit this as i don't have any of the Doobie's stuff logged on here. the highs on this are very high in my opinion. some of their best stuff is here, and this whole album really is just a pleasure to listen to, as is most of their stuff. a couple songs weren't quite as good in comparison to the others, but still solid nonetheless. i wish The Doobie Brothers got more attention ...

The Captain and Me is the third studio album by American rock band The Doobie Brothers. The album was released on March 2, 1973, by Warner Bros. Records. It features some of their most popular hits including "Long Train Runnin'", "China Grove" and "Without You". The album is certified 2× Platinum by the RIAA.
