Vor ihrer Tätigkeit für das Leo Baeck Institute arbeitete Dr. Bistrovic u. a. für den ersten vom Deutschen Bundestag eingesetzten Unabhängigen Expertenkreis Antisemitismus, das Berliner Themenjahr 2013 "Diversity Destroyed: 1933/1938" und als Projektkoordinatorin des Multi Year Work Plan on “Killing Sites” der International Holocaust Remembrance Alliances (IHRA).
