So Bat Out Of Hell emerged in 1977 without any accompaniment; its compositions have had to wait a further 27 years for this augmentation. Review In 1976, when Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman were recording the seven epic songs with Todd Rundgren that would eventually turn out to be the Bat Out Of Hell album, they toyed with the notion of using an orchestra to bring the songs to life.

5. Okt. 2004 · Die CD zu diesem Konzert (Bat out of Hell Live) hat mir nicht allzu gut gefallen. Meat singt anders als man es von den Studioversionen gewohnt ist und beschädigt damit einige der Songs. Auf DVD kommt der visuelle Aspekt dazu und die Sache ist wieder im Lot - in Verbindung mit der ausgezeichneten Show funktionieren auch die Gesangslinien wieder besser.
