Leek me wel een aardig album toen ik het zo'n 10 jaar geleden aanschafte. En hoewel ik de instrumentatie wel boeiend vind, en de meeste songs er heus mee door kunnen, knap ik helaas af op die saaie, weinig melodieuze stem van Kris.Het betreft overigens re-recordings, het is dus geen verzamelalbum.
The Austin Sessions include other artists helping out, Jackson Browne, Steve Earle, Matraca Berg, Vince Gill, Marc Cohn, Alison Krauss, Catie Curtis, and Mark Knopfler. I do like the original tunes on the earlier studio albums better though.
