Jaromil Jireš (* 10. Dezember 1935 in Bratislava; † 24. Oktober 2001 in Prag) war ein tschechischer Regisseur und Drehbuchautor, der häufig mit der Tschechoslowakischen Neuen Welle in Verbindung gebracht wurde.

Jaromil Jireš (10. prosince 1935, Bratislava – 24. října 2001, Praha) byl český filmový scenárista a režisér. Svou ranou tvorbou se zařadil mezi tvůrce tzv. československé nové vlny a zůstal významným tvůrcem i během následujících desetiletí.
