Robert Leo "Bobby" Hackett, född 31 januari 1915 i Providence, Rhode Island, död 7 juni 1976, var en amerikansk jazzmusiker. Han spelade trumpet , kornett och gitarr och är kanske mest känd för sin medverkan i bandet Glenn Miller Orchestra mellan åren 1941 och 1942 .
In 2012, Hackett was inducted into the Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame. Hackett was a Freemason and was active with St. Cecile Lodge #568, a lodge specifically for musicians and artists. Bobby Hackett was born under the name of Robert Leo Hackett on the 31st January, 1915 in Providence , Rhode Island. Bobby, who was later to become the most important white representative of Dixieland jazz, learned banjo, guitar and violin as a child. He left school at 14 and played from then on with local dance orchestras.
