After a series of jazz funk albums on Prestige, Patrice moved to Elektra as the label tapped into the burgeoning “sophisticated R&B” market at the tail end of the disco era.
Die gute Frau Rushen hat ja so einige hörenswerte Alben gemacht, leider immer deutlich zu teuer auf Plattenbörsen (für mein Portemonai). Wurde durch George Michaels "Fast Love" auf diese schöne geschmeidige Nummer aufmerksam. Und ich rätselte lange was wohl "Forget me nots" wohl heißt. ;-)
