James P. Cannon (1890–1974) was a founding leader of the Communist Party in the US in 1919 and a member of the Executive Committee of the Communist International in 1922. He served as Socialist Workers Party national secretary until 1953 and national chairman until his death. His writings include: The Communist League

James P atrick C annon fue uno de los fundadores del Partido Comunista de Estados Unidos (CPUSA) y luego del trotskismo en los EEUU.
