When the hit ITV comedy-drama Doc Martin ended in December, Jessica Ransom was ‘hugely emotional’. Perhaps understandable as Jessica, now 41, who grew up in Sheffield, had played surgery receptionist Morwenna for 11 years, in six of the ten series.
