サバイバー（ Survivor ）は、アメリカ合衆国出身のロックバンド。 『ロッキー3』の主題歌「アイ・オブ・ザ・タイガー」の世界的ヒットで知られ、1980年代中期に隆盛を極めた。
Peterik und Sullivan waren sich nach der schwachen Reaktion auf Too Hot to Sleep zunehmend unsicher, ob und wie sie die Band weiterführen sollten. Jamison indes veröffentlichte 1991 sein erstes Soloalbum When Love Comes Down, arbeitete aber zunächst auch noch parallel mit Survivor. Zweimal Survivor (1993–1999)
1983 beschloss der Sänger der Band Survivor, Dave Bickler, die Band wegen Stimmproblemen zu verlassen, und Jamison wurde neuer Sänger der Gruppe. 1989 wurde Jamison von der Hard-Rock-Band Deep Purple gebeten, den Platz von Ian Gillan als Sänger einzunehmen, da dieser ausgestiegen sei.
