Lightnin' Hopkins. Sam John Hopkins ou como ficou mais conhecido "Lightnin" Sam Hopkins nasceu em Centerville, Texas em 15 de março de 1912 e foi um influente guitarrista, cantor e compositor de country blues norte-americano. Entrou na posição 71 na lista de 100 melhores guitarristas de todos os tempos da revista Rolling Stone.
