Haran (הָרָן Hārān) ist Sohn des Terach, Bruder Abrahams und Vater des Lot (Gen 11,26-27; Gen 11,31). Haran starb, als sein Vater Terach noch lebte, in seiner Heimatstadt Ur in Chaldäa (Gen 11,28). Haran hatte eine Tochter namens Milka, die mit ihrem Onkel → Nahor verheiratet war (Gen 11,29 ). 2.3.
