The Tejas Foundation was established on February 16, 1953 and assists the active membership of the club by: providing adequate housing at a reasonable cost, establishing communication between present and former members of Tejas, and establishing educational incentives
One of the club’s favorite events is our annual crawfish boil, held in honor of a particularly spirited member from long ago. Guests, dressed entirely in white, are invited for an afternoon of crawfish and croquet on the Tejas lawn every Spring. Past entertainment has included string quartets and miniature horses.
Our club trophy case houses an expansive 30+ year collection of Texana ephemera. Tejas Country Club is a creative hub that captures the essence of the Southwest region with unique artistry. Our club features original artwork of western landscapes and flora, text-based signage, and creative photography.
