The Delta Rhythm Boys were an American vocal group active for over 50 years from 1934 to 1987. Still, the Delta Rhythm Boys talent is quite evident here, and they do take harmony to another level, utilizing their voices with instument-like phrasing. Yet I feel duped for I wasn't expecting 5 cuts w/Mildred Bailey, and some of the poorer recordings rob you of the whole DRB experience. I would (and will) seek another DRB disc, but will be a more careful shopper.
