Mein Fazit: „In the Line of Fire“ ist eine Mischung aus Action- und Psychothriller, der vor allem durch seine beiden Hauptakteure überzeugen kann. EASTWOOD und MALKOVICH sind überragend, PETERSEN hat die Story sehr spannend und mitreißend inszeniert. Die Filmmusik stammt von ENNIO MORRICONE, da sind also jede Menge Hochkaräter am Werk gewesen, was man dem Film eben auch anmerkt.
