Bob Cowsill is an American musician born in 1949. He is the third oldest of the Cowsill family and the younger twin to Richard Cowsill, who was the only Cowsill child not to be a member of the Cowsills during the 1960s era.

The Cowsills Web Page: Cowsill History. Back in the 1960's, four brothers who wanted to be The Beatles formed a band called The Cowsills. The original Cowsills consisted of Bill on guitar, Bob on guitar and organ, Barry on bass and John on drums. Early gigs were at school dances and churches around their home in Newport, RI.
Bill Cowsill was born in Middletown, Rhode Island, the eldest child of the seven Cowsill children—six boys and one girl—and was named after his father, William Joseph "Bud" Cowsill (1925–1992). At a young age, Bill began singing with his younger brother Bob (born August 26, 1949), playing guitars provided for them by their father, who at the time was serving in the U.S. Navy . [1]
