19. Feb. 2021 · The Wentworth Military Academy Museum is dedicated to preserving our history for alumni and faculty. Be a part of the effort to preserve Wentworth Military Academy’s History through the wma museum and by joining the 1880 Sustaining Member’s Society today.
A: The museum is open to the public Friday through Monday weekly, 9am-11am; 1pm-4pm. Any other time is by appointment only. Stephen G. Wentworth founded Wentworth Male Academy in 1880 as a lasting memorial for his deceased son William. Sandford Sellers, the first superintendent, became the first of three generations of his family to hold that position. In 1882 Wentworth became a military school, with a name change to Wentworth Military Academy in 1890.

Wentworth Military Academy & Junior College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student. 267 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 437 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $15,500 plus fees of $3,500.
